I deemed it a great honour and privilege to have been honoured in this way. I am sure today is going to be a day to be remembered by all of you beautiful and kind people who have made time out of your busy schedules to honor me with your presence. I am humbled by the presence of such distinguished personalities filling this hall to its capacity to witness this investiture ceremony.

I dedicate this day to my Father Baffour Oduro Korankye (of blessed memory) and my mother Mrs.

Sarah Korankye. My Eighty-year-old Mother is here to witness this occasion and my father is represented by his own nephew Baffour Agyei Baah, Poanohene. I also pay tribute to my brother, Mr. Albert Okyere (of blessed memory) who made my education a reality. Permit me to single out Daasebre Osei Bonsu, whose words of inspiration kept me working towards my post-graduate education. I thank my brothers and sisters, especially Nana Akan Boadu II, my dear wife Mrs Afua Sarong Korankye for their relentless support in education.
